Even though the Crux caters to primarily the novice climber, there is also a welcome place for the advanced climber to improve his/her climbing skills. Actually, the Crux has a 24' wide face that exceeds 50' (when the roof is included) of some of the most awesome (up to 5.13b) lead climbing in the country.

The lead roof in the Crux is of such outstanding replication of holds, appearance, and texture that it cannot be distinguished from those roofs found at one of the world's most famous climbing Mecca's: Hueco Tanks, located outside of El Paso, Texas, USA.
